Ford Transit Cab Chassis Flatbeds

Transit truck beds

Long aluminum decks for Transit cab chassis trucks

A Ford Transit cab chassis needs a body, and an aluminum flatbed or stake bed keeps the van-based chassis light. We build 7'6"-wide decks for Transit 250 single-rear-wheel and Transit 350HD dual-rear-wheel chassis.

Transit builds we've done include a 7'6" × 12' flatbed on a 138" wheelbase Transit 250, 7'6" × 14' stake beds with 38" lift out stakes on 156" wheelbase 350HD chassis, and a 7'6" × 16' flatbed. Most use 22" fold down gates and a dock style bumper.

  • 7'6" wide decks, 12' to 16' long
  • Transit 250 SRW and 350HD DRW chassis
  • 22" fold down gates or 38" lift out stakes
  • Dock style bumpers
  • Aluminum keeps the chassis' payload for cargo

High strength 6000 series aluminum stands up to salt air, rain and road grime.

Load from the side

Fold down gates and lift out stakes open the deck from every side.
