Ford F-150 Aluminum Flatbeds
Flatbeds, stake beds and pool beds for the F-150
The F-150 is one of the trucks we build for most. The typical Alumbody F-150 bed is 6'6" wide by 9' long, which gives you a long, flat deck with fold down or lift out gates on every side.
Pool service companies also run a lot of F-150s with our 81" × 8' pool truck beds: low 9" or 12" solid fold down gates with stainless steel hardware, so techs can reach equipment from the side of the truck. Many F-150 builds keep the factory bumper, and we can reuse the factory taillights.
- Most common size: 6'6" × 9'

Why F-150 owners choose Alumbody
Lighter than steel
Less bed weight leaves more of the truck's rated capacity for the work you carry.
Won't rust
High strength 6000 series aluminum stands up to salt air, rain and road grime.
Load from the side
Fold down gates and lift out stakes open the deck from every side.

F-150 truck bed questions
What size aluminum flatbed fits a Ford F-150?
Most F-150 beds we build are 6'6" wide by 9' long. We also build 6'6" × 7', 7'6" and 10' decks, 7' × 9' beds, and 81" × 8' pool truck beds.
The F-150 already has an aluminum body. Why change the bed?
The factory box is built for general pickup use. A flatbed or stake bed gives you a wider, flat deck, side access through fold down or lift out gates, and room for tool boxes — and an aluminum one keeps the truck light.
Can I keep my F-150's taillights and bumper?
Often, yes. Many of our F-150 builds use the factory bumper, and we've built beds that reuse the factory taillights. Let us know what your truck has when you request a quote.
Can you ship the bed if I'm not in Southern California?
Yes. We install beds at our shop in Orange, California, or ship them anywhere in the U.S. palleted, shrink-wrapped and freight insured.
How do I get a price?
Use our online quote form or call (714) 602-6970 with your truck's year, make, model and cab, plus the gates and options you want. We email or text a firm quote within 2 business days.
