Alumbody builds aluminum beds for the whole GMC Sierra lineup. Sierra 1500 beds are most often 6'6" × 9'; 2500HD trucks take 6'6" × 9', 7' × 8' or 7' × 9' decks; and 3500s get 7' × 10' or 8' × 10' beds.

Sierra owners like 22" and 25" fold down gates for side loading, 38" lift out sides with a 22" fold down rear gate for bulky loads, custom pipe racks, D-rings, and Tommy Gate liftgates — including permanent 48" sides on a Sierra 3500.

GMC truck bed questions

What size flatbed fits a GMC Sierra 1500?

Most Sierra 1500 beds we build are 6'6" wide by 9' long; we also build 6'6" × 7'6".

Can you build a Sierra bed with tall sides?

Yes — from 30" and 38" lift out sides to permanent 48" sides, as on a Sierra 3500 we built with a Tommy Gate liftgate.

Can you ship the bed if I'm not in Southern California?

Yes. We install beds at our shop in Orange, California, or ship them anywhere in the U.S. palleted, shrink-wrapped and freight insured.
