Chevy Silverado Aluminum Flatbeds
Silverado 1500, 2500 and 3500 beds built in Orange, CA
The Silverado is one of the trucks we build for most. On a 1500 or 2500 pickup the classic Alumbody bed is 6'6" wide by 9' long; 2500HD owners also choose 7' × 9' and 7' × 10' decks, and dual rear wheel 3500s usually get an 8' × 12' bed.
Silverado stake beds with 38" lift out sides and a 22" fold down rear gate are a landscaper favorite. Contractors add underbody and topside tool boxes and lumber racks, and fleets add Tommy Gate liftgates. We've also built Silverado traffic-control bodies and 81" × 8' pool truck beds.

What size aluminum flatbed fits a Silverado?
On Silverado 1500 and 2500 pickups our most common bed is 6'6" wide by 9' long. 2500HD trucks also take 7' × 9' and 7' × 10' beds, and dual rear wheel 3500s usually take 8' × 12'.
Can you put a liftgate on a Silverado flatbed?
Yes. We've installed Tommy Gate liftgates on Silverado 2500 and 3500 flatbeds and stake beds. Maxon 66-16 liftgates are another option for 2500–3500 chassis.
Do you build Silverado pool truck beds?
Yes. Our Silverado 1500 pool beds are 81" × 8' with 12" solid fold down gates and stainless steel hardware.
What warranty comes with the bed?
Every Alumbody bed carries a 3-year structural warranty and a 1-year warranty on lighting.
