Toyota Tacoma Aluminum Flatbeds
A flatbed that lets a Tacoma work like a bigger truck
The Tacoma is one of the most popular trucks we put aluminum beds on. Swapping the factory box for an Alumbody flatbed or stake bed gives you a flat, square deck that is wider than the stock bed, with gates that fold down or lift out so you can load from the sides instead of reaching over the bed rails.
Most Tacoma beds we build are 6' wide by 6'6" long, with 6' × 7' and 6' × 7'6" for longer frames. Because aluminum weighs so much less than steel, a Tacoma flatbed keeps more of the truck's rated payload free for tools and material, and it never rusts — even on a truck that lives near the coast.
- Most common sizes: 6' × 6'6", 6' × 7' and 6' × 7'6"
- 22" fold down gates or 30"–33" lift out stakes
- Keep your factory bumper or add a dock style bumper
- Topside and underbody aluminum tool boxes
- Pool route beds with low 9" fold down gates

Why Tacoma owners choose Alumbody
Lighter than steel
Less bed weight leaves more of the truck's rated capacity for the work you carry.
Won't rust
High strength 6000 series aluminum stands up to salt air, rain and road grime.
Load from the side
Fold down gates and lift out stakes open the deck from every side.

Tacoma truck bed questions
What size aluminum flatbed fits a Toyota Tacoma?
Most Tacoma beds we build are 6' wide by 6'6" long. Longer frames take 6' × 7' or 6' × 7'6". We confirm the size against your truck's year, cab and wheelbase before quoting.
Can I keep the factory bumper on my Tacoma?
Yes. Many of our Tacoma builds reuse the factory bumper. A dock style bumper is the other common choice if you back up to loading docks or want a flat step at the rear.
Can a Tacoma flatbed have tool boxes?
Yes. We add underbody boxes beneath the deck and topside boxes along the sides — for example two 16" × 13" × 72" topside boxes on a 6' × 7' Tacoma flatbed.
Can you ship the bed if I'm not in Southern California?
Yes. We install beds at our shop in Orange, California, or ship them anywhere in the U.S. palleted, shrink-wrapped and freight insured.
How do I get a price?
